Cohort 3 creates powerful synergies across Oregon's UAS ecosystem, representing a complete value chain from advanced propulsion and manufacturing enablers to mission-critical end-use applications. Oregon-based aerospace leaders can partner with defense innovators, while wildfire response platforms leverage the state's testing ranges and rural communities. Manufacturing and tech enablers support multiple verticals simultaneously, creating collaborative opportunities that accelerate commercialization and strengthen Oregon's competitive advantage.
With 19 companies already headquartered in Oregon and 16 more committed to expanding operations here, this cohort will create 75+ new jobs over the next three years. The companies span the full development spectrum—from three already-deployed systems serving customers today to advanced prototypes ready for field testing—ensuring both near-term economic impact and long-term innovation leadership for Oregon's unmanned systems sector.
