Innovation Takes Flight
The Oregon UAS Accelerator is Oregon's only Center of Innovation Excellence dedicated exclusively to autonomous systems and robotics. The Accelerator awards $40k non-dilutive grants semi-annually for the purpose of helping small to mid-sized startups—working individually or collaboratively—to commercialize their innovations. Selected startups receive a minimum of 6 months of free access to workshop space, hot desks, Autodesk development software, skilled mentors, UAS training, investment training, and secure storage, as well as onsite coaching from our highly experienced team of flight test professionals.
The Accelerator is based at Eastern Oregon Regional Airport (PDT), co-located with the Pendleton UAS Range, one of the busiest UAS ranges in the nation. Covering over 14,000 square miles and permitting operations to 15,000 MSL, Innovators gain access to innumerable flight test environments and unparalleled flight test infrastructure, all anchored by a UAS-friendly ATC tower, an ILS system, and a primary runway over 6,300 ft. No UAS platforms are too big or too small. Best of all, no equity stake is requested or required.
